Webcam mirror: This webcam mirror opens a local camera preview that starts mirrored, with controls for an unmirrored view and fullscreen.
How this webcam mirror works
Start the camera and allow permission, use the mirrored view for natural self-framing, switch to unmirrored to inspect how others may see the feed, and stop the camera when finished.
How to read the results
A mirror flips left and right only in the preview. Meeting applications may mirror your self-view while sending an unmirrored image to other people. This page does not alter another application’s camera feed.
Common causes of failed tests
A blank preview can come from permission, privacy shutter, another app holding the camera, operating-system privacy settings, USB connection, or unsupported browser media access.
Troubleshooting before you replace hardware
Open the privacy shutter, close meeting apps, select the intended camera in system settings, reconnect USB devices directly, and retry in a current browser.
For setup and buying context, see the full webcam test, mic test, and audio channel test.
Frequently asked questions
Is the camera uploaded?
No. The preview remains on the device and is not recorded or uploaded.
Why do meeting apps look different?
Many apps mirror only your self-view while sending an unmirrored feed to others.
Can I use it full screen?
Yes. Start the camera and choose the fullscreen control.
