White screen: This page provides a clean light source for webcam calls, tracing, screen cleaning, and checking dust or uneven areas. Everything runs locally in the browser.
How this white screen works
Select white or another solid color, then choose Open full screen. Press Escape or use the on-screen exit control when finished. Wipe a display only with the power off and the manufacturer’s approved method.
How to read the results
A solid screen makes dust, smears, glow, discoloration, and uneven lighting easier to see. It is a viewing aid, not a calibrated measurement. Reflections, brightness, viewing angle, panel coating, and room light change what you see.
Common causes of failed tests
Uneven areas can come from fingerprints, dust, pressure damage, backlight bleed, panel uniformity, stuck pixels, image retention, or reflections. A solid screen cannot identify the cause by itself.
Troubleshooting before you replace hardware
Try several colors, reduce reflections, and compare at a normal viewing angle. For individual pixel checks, use the dedicated dead pixel test. If fullscreen is blocked, click the page and try again.
For setup and buying context, see the dead pixel test, white screen, and black screen.
