  • 12-row task table with Task, Owner, Due Date, and Status columns
  • 4-row milestones table with Target Date and Achieved columns
  • Risks and notes section at the bottom

Print tip: Works on standard letter (8.5×11″) or A4 paper. Print at 100% scale with no page scaling. Designed to be printed and filled in by hand.

How to Use This Template

  1. Fill in the goal and ‘Success Looks Like’ rows first. Everything else flows from there. Do this before assigning any tasks.
  2. Assign each task to exactly one owner, not multiple people. Shared ownership creates accountability gaps.
  3. Set milestone dates working backwards from the due date: what must be done by when for the end date to hold?
  4. Update the status column at every check-in meeting. A planner that goes stale in week two is worse than no planner.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this suitable for team use?

Yes. Print and display it in a shared workspace or photograph and share digitally. It works best as a one-page visual reference that everyone can see at a glance.

What status labels should I use?

The template includes a suggestion at the bottom: Not Started, In Progress, Review, Done, and Blocked. Keep it simple, more statuses create more overhead.

Can I use this for home projects like renovations?

Absolutely. The template is generic by design. It works just as well for a kitchen renovation or a content launch as it does for a work project.

Is this free to download?

Yes, completely free. No email required. Print as many copies as you need.
