How this screen test works
Start with white, black, red, and grey at a comfortable brightness. Then choose the focused tester for individual pixels, a suspected stuck subpixel, motion trails, rendered frame rate, or configured display refresh rate.
How to read the results
No single browser pattern can certify a panel. Solid colors show broad uniformity and pixel defects; motion patterns show response behavior; frame timing describes browser rendering; refresh sampling estimates compositor cadence.
Common causes of failed tests
A visible issue may come from the display panel, backlight, cable, GPU, operating-system mode, browser, local dimming, overdrive, viewing angle, room light, or surface contamination. Use the focused pages to isolate one variable at a time.
Troubleshooting before you replace hardware
Return display settings to a known standard mode, connect with the intended cable and port, view the panel straight on, and compare multiple patterns. Record repeatable defects while the return or warranty window is open.
