An unexpected 60 Hz result often means the operating system is still set to 60, the cable or adapter lacks bandwidth, the browser is on the wrong monitor, mirrored displays forced a common mode, battery saving is active, or a remote-desktop session is limiting output. A game can run at a different rate from a browser.

Check the display's on-screen information panel and the operating-system advanced display settings. Confirm the correct port, cable standard, resolution, color depth, and refresh selection.
